Great size and strong construction for use with a range of point and shoot film cameras and small digital cameras
Adding a few new colour options would make it attractive to those who value that otherwise perfect as it is
This bag is the perfect size for getting out and about with everything you need for the day. Small enough to not weigh you down and feel too bulky, but big enough so I can carry everything I need for film or digital. The dividers are quick and easy to change around depending on what camera(s) I’m taking out of the house, and the build quality is superb. Very happy with my first purchase from Hung Supply!
Hey Corey! Thank you so much for your review – we really appreciate your kind words and support! Stoked to hear that the Sidewalk Camera Sling is ticking boxes and that you're happy with your purchase. Cheers, Linc
Easy to carry around and the perfect ad on for street missions w your homies! Digi, film, camcorders, it’s fits them all. So Easy to carry around and the best addition for the street missions w your homies! So gooood🖤🤌🏼
Well done Hung Supply, you've made a brilliant tool.
I've had the sling for 6 months and have been using it when shooting live music and working as a photography assistant.
1. On set.
The sling is a great size to have as a 1st / 2nd stills assistant. Previous to the sling, I had a Uniqlo satchel bag - it was too small and lacked build quality. I like how the sling is angular but still ergonomic. Dividers mean I'm spending less time searching for tools. It comfortably fits all that's pictured with a few non-essentials: The mesh pocket closest to your waist is a perfect size for a paper light Kindle. When on set, I house the sling in my assist bag, which has tether gear, clamps and small rigging pieces. It's a nice size to be able to pocket in a larger system and carry essentials.
2. In venue.
I'm in Sydney and I cycle to and from venues to shoot. I shoot commercially, so I need to carry a bit of kit for peace of mind and backup purposes. My R6ii with an EF 16-35 lives slung around me, its form factor is too big to stay in the bag to and from shoots. But that suits me as I like to have it ready to go when going to a venue. I'm currently using a Godox V1 and it comes with a belt case. This fits snugly on the right hand side of the bag and sits out of the way until needed. The sling lets me carry a second body (film or digital) and a bunch of handy bits. I carry a Nikon F-EF adaptor so I can use my 50mm 1.8 for motion and stills on the Canon and all the other pieces pictured have a home in the pockets and sections.
With a carabiner and a bit of fiddling the strap can be arranged to sit high on the chest to simulate a cine-saddle.
It's a great product and I'd recommend it if you are looking for a satchel solution.
I’ve cycled through a fair few bags before finding this one. It’s been hard to find one that looks good and has enough space whilst also not being too large to lug around. And that sweet spot is exactly where the Sidewalk fits!
I’ve been using it for the past 4 months and it’s been the bag I choose every time! It accommodates all my gear and usually has a little space left for other day to day items too. My usual carry is the X100VI, Ricoh GRiii, a spare battery or two, flash, spare SD card plus reader, and maybe a couple accessories for my phone. I’m yet to find myself having to leave something behind because it won’t fit.
Would highly recommend this bag to amateur and professional photographers alike.
Don't leave home without this. Feels sturdy and well thought out.
Not too bulky but not to small that you lose the camera feel on your shoulder, and are still trusting in the clips. I roll this with a Contax G2 and it suits perfect with every lens in the set. Reflective accents sit nicely and are good for shooting at night. Looks great and feels nice with camera in hand and on the shoulder. Would ride a bike with it slung over my shoulder or even rock climb or something dumb like that, total confidence. Well done Hung. Thank you.
This thing is the perfect size for my Contax T2, but could fit lightly larger point and shoots also. Love the padding and the interchangeable sling it comes with. Also love how you can change up the patch, thats a nice touch which you could even make your own for. No problems or faults. Thing is a workhorse. Love it.
Functional and well designed. Only flaw is the material (where the branding sits) could be softer /more flexible.
Whenever I open my Camera Sling, the Rein Rope's reflective accents shine back at me and I'm like "hell yeah, there it is and it looks tight". Perfect for your midsized camera or smaller. The rope has a bit of an elastic bounce to it so it's not so rigid like other rope straps. I was in the market for a rope strap too and this couldn't have come at a better time. I've got the strap attached to my Canon A-1 w 35-105mm. Feels great. I love this rope strap because it doesn't have a lot of surface area like other straps that make you feel like you're wear a full on collar and it's not too small and fragile where you feel like it's gonna snap. As Michael Fassbender's Magneto would say, "Perfection"
What a perfect little accessory to attach to your Camera Sling. I love the system that HS is creating! Now I can carry my Contax T2 along with the rest of my on-the-go gear! Also love that you can just snap it on to your belt (if you're wearing one). Currently testing out ways to attach it to my running vest to get those coveted trail shots out in the middle of nowhere. If anybody has any suggestions I'm all ears!
Hands down best sling to carry all of my on-the-go gear. Every time I don't want to carry a full on backpack or pelican case, I'm like Thank Effing God of this sling that fits the right amount of gear for a full day's worth (or more depending on what you're doing) of shooting. I can fit my Canon 5D Mark IV w 24-70mm lens attached along with a battery + charger and Profoto remote trigger in the main compartment. Then all the nifty pockets can fit SD cards, batteries, cords, wallet etc. LOVE THIS BAG
Raddest company, with outstanding customer support. Had a small issue with shipment of my first order, don’t really like to call it an issue, just things happen and regardless the communication was unmatched and made me want to and continue to be a customer and supporter of Hung supply!
I have tried many different camera bags over the years. Then I came across the SIDEWALK CAMERA SLING.
It’s a lightweight and easy-to-handle sling type, yet it manages to pack all the necessary functions into its appropriately compact size. What’s especially noteworthy is its one-of-a-kind design. With its tasteful, minimal, streetwear-like look, this bag is sure to lift my spirits every time I head out with it from now on.
This is the ultimate camera bag solution for me.
It's way less bulky than you’d expect, I was surprised to find ‘sleeker’ looking 4L bags on other websites all consistently had bigger, inconvenient dimensions. You can tell a good watch when they spent time on the strap and it's the same case here, it wasn’t an afterthought which is awesome. The slightly bigger zippers are buttery smooth and there’s zero cluttering through gear with the sunroof style opening.
Get it before Hung Supply gets really big and doubles the price because that's what it's worth. Super happy with it, cheers!
Jake! Thanks heaps for the kind words – stoked you’re digging the sling. We sweated the small design stuff, so hearing it lands means a lot. Enjoy putting it through its paces dude. Cheers mate!
I received my products perfectly packaged and really fast (even i live in germany and they are shipped from australia). I really recommend hung supply.
Thanks for the kind words and support Danel! Big love from Australia!
Love it ! Now can take my camera everywhere with me and know it’s safe, hidden, padded and good to go for those spontaneous moments
I brought the Repeater Pouch to attach to the sling bag. When shooting shows I can easily use the pouch to hold my flash or bring a point and shoot. Well made, designed and functional products. Still the best in the game.
Wanted something simple and easy to bring with me while lurking around and the roscoe pouch is it!! Sleek simple and rad! It also showed up super quick. Ive had packages take months to get to me and this one came from across the globe fast as hell!! You guys are the sh/t! Will definitely be a continued costumer and die hard supporter.
Logan, that's a hell of a review! Thank you for the support and kind words my friend. Hyped you're loving your Roscoe Camera Pouch. Big love from Australia.
As the title says. I've had this bag for 2 years now and I basically never leave the house without it.
Camera inside or not, it's just the perfect carry bag.
The only thing I'd maybe wish it had is a pad on the strap, but maybe I just use the thing to much.
Hey James! Thank so much for the awesome review. We're so glad to hear your Sidewalk Sling is still leaving the house with you on the daily, even after two years of use! A padded strap is on the road map too as an add on, we'll keep you posted when we get it dialled. Thanks for the feedback. Big love, Linc
I fit so much in the sling that it’s my go to bag for when I’m on the street to shooting events. One main body with spare lens and two point and shoots. Plus you can tell a photographer has designed it because all the little pockets and hideaways are the right size and right place.
If you buy elsewhere you are kidding yourself!
Yeah Marc! Thanks for the awesome review man, and we're glad to hear you've got ample room for your kit. We love those extra pockets for your knick-knacks ;)
First off, I gotta shout out Linc and Nat for their love and dedication to photography and the culture. Second, the marketing for their products on top, nobody is doing it like they are, they sold me on the sidewalk sling bag. So far, I’m loving it and it’s been a great new addition to my day-to-day photography life and a cozy new home for my X-Pro2 and my extra lenses. I definitely would recommend it to anyone looking for a quality/lowkey camera bag and not to mention it looks sick af.
Gio! Thanks for taking the time to leave us such a great review – we appreciate it immensely. We're hyped to hear that the Sidewalk Sling is a safe haven for your X-Pro2. Keep taking great photos. Big love!
Brought the Roscoe camera pouch as a gift and my brother loves it! Very well designed and made🤙🏼
Hey Sam! Thank you so much for dropping us a review. We're stoked to hear that your brother loves his Roscoe Camera Pouch! Big love.
